An individualized yoga therapy session at Center for Soul Care is a 60-minute, one-on-one mind-body-spirit experience created around your unique needs, goals, and capacity. Through trauma-informed yoga principles, gentle movement, breath practice, meditation, reflection, sound, and spiritual care when desired, each session supports renewal, nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and sustainable self-care. Together, we listen deeply to your body and create practices that help you move through life with greater grounding, compassion, and ease.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION
Your first session begins with a thoughtful intake conversation where we explore your wellness goals, health history, daily rhythms, stress patterns, physical concerns, and what kind of support would feel most nourishing. I may also observe simple movement, posture, breath, or body awareness patterns to better understand how to design a practice that meets you where you are.

From there, I create an individualized practice that may include gentle asana/movement, breath practice, meditation, guided rest, somatic awareness, sound, journaling prompts, or spiritual practices, depending on your needs and preferences. Each practice is offered with choice, care, and respect for your body’s wisdom.

Sessions often close with grounding, reflection, and integration so you can notice what shifted, what your body may be communicating, and what practices may support you beyond our time together. You may also receive a simple take-home practice, written guidance, or audio support to help you continue your care in everyday life.
